The party that is interested in purchasing diesel fuel is prepared to buy it instantly, provided it exists beyond theory, that is if diesel fuel is already physically there, even in a tanker. It could be in the NWE region, but it could also be as far as Singapore since as long as the place is safe and accessible to the SGS. The exact location does not matter. They will send an independent inspector from the SGS to verify the availability of the cargo.  The buyer is also interested in smaller quantities like 10,000 MT / aboard tanker / CIF Mediterranean terms but on a spot basis only. The transaction can be completed within three hours. In one way case funds are from a major institution There is no need for LC or bank guarantees for a spot transaction since a direct payment can be effected and TT payment is also possible. POF Proof of funds or MT 199 is only supplied bank to bank and only for the amount equal to the quantity of product offered.
